i want to atach a winch to the roof rack area i carry juke boxes the expedition is so high then when i lean it to load the juke box its back breaking i want to put a piece of plwood then winch up the far end about 245 lbs think roof is strong enough

 

I think that the roof is only rated for 200 lbs, so 245 would be pushing it a bit.

Also be careful of wind resistance load, running a large flat object down the highway really add's to the rack load, which I agree with the other post, it doesn't appear to be OVERLY strong.
