TPS Voltage

I read somewhere that you can test the TPS voltage. How is it done and what should you adjust it to on a 1989 5.0?

Hi,

My truck is carbed so I basing this on my Mustang and Town Car. With the key on engine off, probe the green wire with a digital meter, grounding the black probe. You're looking for less than 1 volt, some where around .95 or so. There is a small range of adjustment by loosening the two screws and turning the sensor. Good luck.
