Question Removing maniforld

My manifold gasket needs to be replaced and of course there are a couple of bolts either gone or broken cant really tell. Im haveing a problem getting the other bolts loose. Is there a trick or am I going to have to pull the engine to really get in there and work on it. Stupid question I know but I figured i would ask..

Sounds like an exhaust manifold. Soak well with a good penetrating oil (not WD40), tap them on the head a few times, let them sit for at least an hour and repeat the process a few times. Then try turning them, tighten first and then back them off.

If you do have a broken one(s) that are inside the block with no portion of the bolt exposed, you'll have to drill them and then use an ez out. I've never done one with the engine installed, but others have.
