new problem??

Hello all. Tonight I was out messing around with my truck. 92 f150 4.9l. While at idle I was listening to the motor and exhaust, just installed K&N filter. When I barely step on the gas pedal the engine seemed like it wanted to cut out. Just a breif hesitation and back to normal. It would only do this when I applied hardly any pessure to the pedal. Is this a feul system problem or something else? I just got a Equus Digital Code Reader and plan on pulling codes soon. Need to get the extension cord to do this myself, manual tranny.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

new problem??

mine does the same thing. I replaced the TPS and it still does it. it isn't a vacuum leak, I've looked for that. When you find out email me and tell me. I would love to fix it along with everything else that's wrong with it. Thanks

I know what's causing the problem... I just fixed mine. Your MAP sensor is on the verge of dying. if you don't fix it you will end up with the same problems that mine had. you can pick one up from auto zone for $45 If you don't fix it soon it will go down hill from here.
