Ford OEM alloys, cleaning

Hey guys, I just purchased a set of the Ford OEM alloy wheels with the rivets on outside and want to polish them up some. They have some blemishes and I was wondering what works best for these with out taking off the clearcoat/powdercoating that is on them.

I went to a parts store and found some wheel cleaning stuff to put on (like Blue Magic) and asked them if it was safe for my wheels, he said sure, but I really doubted his knowlege on this.

I did search past forums but was unable to find anything specific to my question, so hopefully someone here can help me.

Thanks!!

Hey there guys! I just found a great little tool that works great for those small areas of wheels and such for cleaning. Those new battery operated tooth brushes. For $4.00 and they come with the batteries! Works great for applying and removing waxes and such. Just a tip for you detailers out there.
Talk with you guys later....
