Trying to replace rotor...dang locknut!

1992 F150 XLT 4x4, 302, auto hubs, I think Dana 44 front end.

I am trying to replace my rotors, and am having some problems getting them off. I have removed the inner hub body, and am now looking at the spindle, and the locknut and washer. I have the special socket for the lock nut, but if I unscrew it, it tightens up after about 5 or six revolutions. I can't seem to figure out what I am missing....any thoughts?

thanks,

Bryan

Trying to replace rotor...dang locknut!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 27-Nov-01 AT 01:17 PM (EST)]Okay...now I see what's holding the locknut on. There is a C-washer and a spacer in there.....now I need to figure out how to get that C-washer out without destroying the spindle....

Sorry to waste yer clicks!!!!

Bryan
