slide in camper for f350 utility body
My name is Ed. I own a F-350 Superduty Diesel Supercab DRW with a knapheide 9' utility body. I'm looking to buy a slide in camper. The back of the bed is 24" deep and 53" wide. I think the wheelwells can be eliminated. My question would be does anyone make a slide in camper to fit this truck or does anyone know of someone who might be into customizing one for me?

You would have 2 problems that I can see. First, the rail height at 2 feet sounds higher than the typical pickup bed. So you'd need to build a platform that sits on your utility bed floor for the camper to rest on high enough so it clears your "bed rails".
The other issue is with your 9 foot bed, you wouldn't be able to load any of the longer campers that hang below a standard pickups bed. My 11'10" camper for instance has the holding tanks hanging down below the part of the camper that sticks out the rear of my truck bed. Because these campers are made for standard 8 foot beds, they won't easily fit your longer bed. I can think of 2 possible fixes. One is to buy a shorter camper that has it's entire floor at pickup bed level and with no fairing pieces that'll interfere with your utility box. The other option if you want the bigger campers is to build another box that sits at the front of your utility bed and stops the camper from sliding forward. You'll have to watch your camper center of gravity because it may end up behind your rear axle, which is not a good thing (and is a bad thing depending on how far back and how heavy the camper is).
The last problem to overcome is how to tie the camper down. Without seeing your utility box, I can't think of how to do that. BTW, your width is fine because every camper will fit within the 48inch minimum width between a pickup wheelwells.

Big E;
I needed to build a platform for my new camper to clear the roof of my F350SD. Used 2x4's on edge and covered with a 4'x8' sheet of 5/8" plywood. At 24.5" total height, it would just fit your rig.
On my new Adventurer 9'6" camper there's nothing hanging down but the sewer connection that could be re-routed, and the overall "floor" length is 9' 1" before it hangs down over the bumper.
I've seen rigs similar that had rings welded to the utility box to tie the camper in.
Don't know where you are, (Canada or US), but here's a couple of links to sites that have links to the manufacturers. Most of the "big" name sites offer floor plans and dimensions.
