What's your trucks Top Speed ?
The speed limiter cuts in at 96 on my truck. It has 3.08 gears. If you have a taller gear you should be able to go a little bit faster because the driveshaft speed is lower. The speed limiter is to keep the driveshaft from spinning too fast. Even the 93-95 Lightnings had a limiter at 110.

since the speedo only goes to about 85mph, i'm assuming about 90.
truck was at 3000rpm i believe, but of course i didn't stay up there too long so i didn't really check.
It doesn't like going up there. Hell i'm at half throttle at 80.
I have 300/mazda 5/ 3.55/ 31" tires
Trucks will never be fast.
Look at the new lightning! that much power would make anything with actual aero dynamics fllllyyyy

What's your trucks Top Speed ?
Last truck i had was a '67 F-100 with a 300, a three speed and a 3.7 9". That truck would go 62 mph downhill with a tailwind. The one i'm currently driving ('85 150, 300, NP435, 3.08 8.8)was pushed to 94 once (the original owner took it out when it had about 5,000 miles on it which was about 325,000 ago) no clue what it'll run now, but it loves to cruise at 60 and i've had it to 80 passing.
