ANyone know what this goes to


I've been having air intake problems. I'm wondering if the circuit is open based on my codes and if this is the culprit; anyone know what the open barrel is for? It's about in the middle a 1/3 of the way from the top of the pic.

If you mean that hose going underneath the cowl, perhaps the windshield washer fluid supply?

Agreed the hose pictured is washer fluid.

I've got a 94 to and I think mine has that plug to, with nothing connected. It's probably for some type of accessory. A wiring manual would list what it's for, don't have one though.

That connector your asking about is for the hood lamp.

If you had the hood light, that would be plugged into that connector.
Turns on automatically when you open the hood.

Can be found at pick-n-pulls as an add on.

That connector is used for the hood switch if you have the optional Anti-theft package.
