I have more small block parts. I have 2 460s one is a 60s p.o. the other is a 71 Lincoln 385hp. Both need a rebuild and neither have accessories on them. The 2 trans I have need rebuilt too. but I have a fresh small block trans and accessories layingeverywhere for a small block so that seems the easier route to go.

If it were me, I would try to run a roller cam. I know you're on a budget but maybe try to find a used 5.0 cam where some one had upgraded. Then run a set of used link bar lifters. The way to go on those is Morel.

I know there are plenty of flat tappet cams out there. But I will NEVER run anything but roller from now on if I can.
