2016 F250 tire sizes

Hi everyone. I have a 2016 F250 crew cab 8ft bed. Need bigger tires. I have 17" rims but willing to go bigger 18s look good too. I to a 7000lb camper and put 4 wheeler in bed. Stock no lift but willing to put leveling kit in. Any help on biggest size I can go I appreciate. I have been reading and it's all over the place. Thanks!

295/70/18, best of everything with this size. Top load rating of 4080lbs, fills wheel well, fit stock wheels, no rubbing issues, affordable, and many tire options.

Are you wanting an AT, Mud or a tire more directed for on road?

Looking for something most for road I guess but like the aggressive look.

I am a big fan of the Michelin Defender LTX, those would be best for anyone trying to maintain mpgs on the 6.2.
If those aren't aggressive enough in appearance, my next choice is the Cooper AT3. Both of these options also offer plus sizes if you were to keep your 17's, like the 285/70/17.

I believe the Nitto Ridge Grappler is made in the 295/70/18 size and seems to be getting good reviews. The are a hybrid design(in between a mud and AT tire)so they are a little more aggressive and they are kind of spendy.

I Can't speak from experience on that size. I'm just running 285/70/17s without a leveling kit and the tires have a ton of room. If I don't trade trucks I'm going to need new tires this fall and am leaning towards getting some 18" wheels and 295/70/18 tires.

With a leveling kit you should be able to run 35" tires no problem, at least that's what everyone has been saying. The largest tires Ford offers from the factory is 34" tall.

Another option would be a set of new take-offs. I bought a set of 275-65-20 wheels and Michelin tires from a 2016 Platinum and just bolted them on. There are always some on ebay. I saw a set like I bought and several NTOs from 17s. You can usually find them for about 2K. Here's the ones I got for my K/R.

I run 37x13.50x20 Toyo RTs on my leveled F350. They rub on the radius arms at full lock. It isn't an issue for me. Right now I have right at 35k miles on these tires and they have plenty of tread left. They come with a 45k mile warranty and a load rating of 3860. I've been real happy with them.
