96 obd2 dash work in 97 obd1

I found a 96 dash from a f150 with ob2. Will this work for my f350 crewcab project with 460 obd1 or will I have to swap the dash harness .

There is no difference in the dash itself, but you will need to retain your wiring

Ok thanks brad that's what I was thinking. This thing was too good to pass up the dash pad was even good also got the computer and plumbing for my mass air swap.
