Hello all, I lurked around this site for quite awhile now reading as much as I can about my issue. My truck has a miss, the SES light is on and a scan shows P1272 after running a buzz test. The #2 injector sounds weaker during the buzz test.

I have checked the wiring from the 42 pin and all the connetors read 2.9-3.1 Ohms.

I took off the VC and the connector seemed tight with all connections clean.

I swapped #2 and #4 injector coil, same issue.

The truck has 218K on what I assume are stock injectors so I know that the injectors may be starting to wear out, but the truck ran great before the SES light and blows zero smoke.

I am thinking it is the injector, I am going to put a feeler gage under the armature and check the clearance to see if it needs to be shimmed.

It could also be the IDM, I haven't yet pulled it out to check the connector on it.

I am new to 7.3s so any help is appreciated!
