Arrow 2017 F150 Ordered

Hi Folks. Just wanted to post that I ordered a 2017 F150 with all the essential options...to make it custom!!

Was at the dealer yesterday...and the sales tried to "find" me the same truck. I was certainly up for it...as I'd get it sooner. But...also told them that I would NOT pay to have it relocated here.

Of course...NO way they found the exact truck! So...my order went in...and now I get to wait the 8-10 weeks to take delivery.

I've attached the order sheet...

Congrats on the new truck.

Are you sure you`re not going to regret not getting the 502A package?

Thanks. I really appreciate it!

That is a really good question...and one that I thought over very carefully. However, the biggest turn off was all the chrome options added. Now...I like chrome, but...not so much this time around.

Would have been nice to get the Quad-beam LED headlamps and LED taillamps.

Thanks! I've always wanted a white truck...and I really like the oxford white! Also, it's so hard to find a lariat without the Platinum white here locally.

Great truck! Very similar to what I ordered except for color. The one thing I ordered and didn't get was the sprayed in bedliner. Ford was having some sort of problem with that part of their assembly line. But I had a Line-X liner installed for the same price after arrival. The extended range fuel tank is wonderful. Not filling up every weekend!

I didn't realize Auto S/S is still an option? I see it on there twice....
Edit, I think I see it as a $500 3.5 EB option which includes the S/S.

If you get the 3.5 EB you can't avoid it, but its fairly easy to live with or defeat.

I like white trucks my 2001 & my 2012 were white. This time I have silver thought I would try something new. I like the start/stop feature. It seems to help my in-city mileage.

Congrats! My thinking is same as yours, the 502 package has a lot of great stuff, but too much chrome (for my tastes anyway). Which means I will probably end up getting the 502 with at least the Sport Appearance Pkg, if not the Special Edition as well. Still playing around on Ford.com with Build & Price trying to find that "perfect" combination.

Yeah, this is where I was 14 months ago when I ordered my truck. There were a few widgets I wanted, such as the LED headlights and 20" rims, but not all the other chrome or the bucket seats.

Looks like you've got a great truck ordered. Congrats!

Thanks everyone...really appreciate the comments!!

Yeah, we are really lucky that FORD offers so many options that we can really make these trucks our own.

As the delivery date approaches...is when I will begin working the "modes" list. All those glorious parts coming to the house!!

What are you adding to the truck? I bought the Ford rubber bed mat for extra protection. It was about $80. The quality seems very good and it has a cool F150 logo on it.

Well...my "temp" list goes like this...(nothing set in stone yet)

1. 2.25" front ReadyLift
2. 3" rear blocks ReadyLift (still want the rake effect)
3. Larger AT type tires (brand and model unknown) Must fit OEM wheels
4. floor mat (WeatherTech or Husky)
5. Rear wheel liner (Husky)
6. Bed mat heavy duty (Dee Zee)
7. bug shield (AVS)
8. molded Mud guards (WeatherTech or Husky)
9. sliding tonneau Cover (GatorTrax MX)

**May or may not replace the OEM FX4 shocks with Fox 2.0 or Bilstein. Need to drive the truck first...and get my impressions.

That's about the list right now. FUN! FUN! FUN!
