Was asked to make a second thread...1990 F150 302

Other thread was too big so I was asked to make a new one...

1990 Ford F-150 with a 5 speed and a 302.

I recently put in a new O2 sensor (was probably about time for one anyway), a new MAP sensor and a Dorman TPS.

I am now getting codes for KOEO - 63...When I did the test before I warmed the truck up, I got 21, 63, 24. When I start it up first thing in the morning, it idles way too low and usually stalls out unless I hold the throttle. after warming up, it idles anywhere from 600-700, but usually 650.

I couldn't perform KOER as all I got was 63, 98...

63- TPS Sensor signal too low.
I'd obviously recommend re-testing the tps.
Part 1 -Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Test (Ford 5.0L, 5.8L)

Yup. I will do that do EECIV motors have the adjustable TPS? I saw NO way to do that.

If you have to adjust it, it's bad (assumes no one has jacked with the throttle stop screw). Early version TPS did have some adjustment, but not the newer ones. If the closed throttle TPS output is 0.6 to 1.0 VDC, it's good. The old urban myth of adjusting it to 0.99 VDC is just that....a myth.

Is it possible someone jacked with the screw? How would I check. Been out all day and haven't been able to test it, I'll have to do it tonight or tomorrow.

Is the idle RPM outside of spec.? If no, you purchased a bad TPS. Very common for aftermarket TPS. One of those Ford only parts you should purchase.
