A ZF6 4x4 is a pretty nice setup! I'm giving you a hard time for getting rid of the other truck as well, I like your new one. Your new truck seems quite nice, probably better than what your old truck was. As I said, I like the OBS styling more, but the super duty styling is still one of my favorite looking trucks on the road.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. Yeah, it was pretty hard to find a manual in the configuration I wanted. That's why I ended up with an EC rather than a CC. I like the OBS styling more as well, but I like the quiet cab of the SD while still having a noisy diesel LOL...Autos were EVERYWHERE, but manuals were just here and here. Let me tell you, there was some serious junk out there. It was pretty unbelievable.

Hey Bill, the SD is doing really well. I posted some photos of a big cleaning job I did yesterday in a thread on the SD side if you want to take a look. The truck was pretty clean, but the Arizona dust mixed with oil leaks made for a pretty dirty engine. I also installed an FRX from Clay, fixed the cruise control, and been waxing it slowly LOL. It hasn't needed much even though I did end up cleaning more yesterday than I had planned. It's all in the other thread. My dang OCD took over Lol!!

Speaking of AZ dust, first picture is tonight. Probably a little late because its getting dark but the second picture tells all when the wind blows hard.

Ha yeah the dust down here is pretty bad, especially where I live where there are dirt roads!

Your OBS wasn't intercooled was it? I bet it's sure nice having an intercooler now (unless your old truck was, then it's nice yours still has it!) I think my next mod is going to be an intercooler, but I have to make sure everything works well with my replacement motor before I consider that.

Your supposed to ask when he is going to do a regulated return....

He all ready has all the other 'base mods' stock.

Ruby was intercooled, but my last truck was not. Yeah it's definitely nice having one and also being able to have the turbo off in 30 minutes is sweet too!!

I just did the FRX by RiffRaff for now...lots less money and fixes the dead head issue.

I moved up, too.....but keeping at least 1 in this group!

Hi - I stay too busy to be on here very often but was just looking in....peeking around the corner for a few minutes. I have 2 1997 7.3's, need to sell 1 of them and have it on CL for now. Keeping my 1997 F350 4 door 4WD, selling the 97 F250 2WD 4 door - because we found a 2000 F250 with 108K miles! Couldn't pass that up - although I must admit I would not put my 97 up for sale until I made sure this "newer" one was up to par. I am not disappointed!!

Congrats on the newer truck, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed my newer one.
