Brake rod to firewall seal

Brake rod to firewall seal
Hi bump-guys. Years ago I installed a power brake setup from a '71 on my '65. Fast forward about 20 years. My daughter and her shop class are getting the thing ready to daily drive again. There's no seal for a fairly large hole in the firewall the brake rod passes through. Originally the M/C bolted directly up to the firewall and sealed the deal. With a pwr booster, the brackets stand off the whole assy from the firewall and now there's no seal. Got any suggestions? I'm thinking Ford dealt with this somehow, but I can't find anything in catalogs, etc.
Thanks!
Thanks!

There was never a part number on it separate. I am assuming it came with a new booster. Back in the day we always sold GPD Reman boosters. Not Ford brand new. They were to expensive. GPD was the company Ford contracted to reman all their boosters,M/C,water pumps, carbs, etc, etc. for most of the country.

I don't know that these numbers will help your cause but, the numbers on the plastic boot are 2507653. Under that is EM 108.
Bendix manufactured the booster. They may have contracted with some plastics company to produce the boot back when the boosters were assembled(?).
If you blow up the photo, you can see the numbers on the left side of the boot.
This style boot is the same on all single and dual diaphragm (long input rod, non-bellcrank) boosters from 1968-1977.

Thanks you the try help. But that is prolly a Bendix number. If it had been sold separate Ford would have had them mold a ford engineering number in it also.

As I had mentioned earlier, I don't know of anyone that reproduces this part for the Ford truck Bendix boosters. I've tried searching those same numbers before and came up with nothing.
For the '67-'69 GM Camaro and Firebird guys, someone does reproduce the dust boot for the boosters on those vehicles. It's not configured exactly like the one for the Ford trucks but, it's somewhat similar. I don't know whether or not it could be made to work but, it MIGHT in a pinch (?).

Steve, Oddly enough the booster went south on my '68 F100. I purchased it about 28 years ago and after sharing it with some family members, I am now getting it back i running condition. Apparently, a previous owner had removed whatever engine was in it and dropped in a 352 and 4 speed tranny. He also put in a different power brake setup since the booster that should fit the model year does not. What I have and am trying to replace is exactly as the unit pictured in your post along with the dust shield. i have spent hours trying to determine what model year that unit was from. Can you help me?

I bought a new booster and disc conversion kit for my truck and it came with a thin sheet metal plate that has a narrow vertical slot cut in it that closes most of the hole off. It sits between the booster mounts and the firewall and has holes drilled to set on the mounting bolts. It would not be difficult to make one.
