Long time Ford Owner, New to the Forum
Just wanted to say hello to all, and let you know what I own.
My name is Jake
I drive both of my Ford Trucks all over the great state of Idaho. My daily driver is a 2016 F-150 XLT Super crew with the 157" Wheel base, 3.5 Eco-boost, and Max Trailer tow package. Current mods are minor but they include Lund Roll up Tonneau cover, 2" front leveling kit, BFG All terrain tires, shortened antenna, firestone ride rite airbags, spray in bed-liner, and splash gaurds. Future mods include, screen protector for LCD screen, Aftermarket wheels, and what ever else this site leads me to! My other ride is 1978 Ford F-250 4x4 Ranger explorer, in midnight maroon . It was rescued from a 5 year sit in a pasture in eastern Oregon. Truck is bone stock with the original 400M. Current mileage is at 170K, I assume. The forums have all ready helped me correct the notorious problem with the crumbling dash cluster. My doner came from a 1986 Econoline. I have changed the steering wheel out to a mid 80's padded style. Lots to do on this one, and look forward to posting some pics.....I see that with out pics, it did't happen around here! I also drove a 2007 F-150 4x4 with the 5.4L Triton for 112,000 miles before I got the 2016, so I may chime in on some of that stuff.
