what are some good wheel brands?

1995 f250xl

as some of u may have seen i just got this truck a few weeks ago and its still has its stock wheels (hub caps).

ive been looking on a few different websites and i dont know which brands are good. ive been looking at american racing, pro comp and mickey thompson mainly because they have the style i am looking for. something like this

and are there any websites where i can get suggestion on tire sizes? i might stick to the OE 16" size but i might also go up to 17" so idk what tire sizes would look good.

Stock Alcoa's are always good. You can find them on Craigslist for 3-400 a set give or take.

Basically. If you can find a stock set off an OBS Ford, they will be 8 on 6.5" spacing. The gassers and the diesels have the same lug pattern ( the 250's and 350's).

American Racing is one of the oldest & best wheel companies out there. MT is no slouch. Pro Comps are rather new in comparison to both but have a solid rep.

Nothing wrong with original Alcoas, but new wheels are like new shoes. Gives you a whole new look on things.

15 & 16 sized tires are getting fewer & farther between, just to keep in mind.

So ur saying not that many companies still produce tires that are for 16 x 6.5 wheels?

I'm just saying that the selection of 15 & 16 inch tires is getting smaller all the time with the advent of 17 & up tires. You can't buy a new truck with 15" tires & 16s' on a small truck/SUVs are getting harder to find, with those you do find being pricier than before.

Nothing absolute, just a consideration to be mindful of.

Those are dually wheels. Were you planning on converting your truck to a dually?

WELD used to have a line of forged wheels. Pretty sure AR, MT, etc. will be cast and Chinese, although they will work fine.
