I want to put a 2.8 into 1989 Ranger.... What about the distributor? Do i need à special kit to make the swap or i can do it easy?

 

The 2.8L v6 was a standard engine in the Ford Ranger, though not for the 1989 model year. I don't think you should have any trouble installing that engine into that truck with the stock distributor. Not sure of the engine mounts though.

 

I have a1987 4x4 Ranger. I want to put a transmission that come from a 1994 Ranger. Does it fit and do i need another drive-shaft or do i have to fit one?
