add a leaf and lift questions
So I acquired this 2000 f350 about 2 weeks ago and one thing I have noticed is it is squatting a bit in the front. and here is my dilemma/s
First I want to install extra leafs in the front and rear, front is to help with the plow, rear is to haul a ton of pellets here and there. Can I use the same add a leafs for both front and rear or is there a specific one for the front?
Now after I add these leafs I want to level the front a bit (like 2 inches) and my questions about that are with leafs and a leveling kit will I need to add drop brackets for my steering and or front sway bar? and also can I use normal blocks in the front or do I have to use special ones like I have been seeing? I ask this cause they are generally 3 inches which is more than I wish to have in the front.
I appreciate all advice you can give me

I would do a level/add a leaf in the front in one kit, like this, which I have done myself:
Tuff Country Add-A-Leaf - Front - 2.5 inch, 22961 | TruckSpring
This comes with the trac-bar drop bracket.
In the rear, there are add a leafs for height or just for added weight capacity.

Sounds like the leafs maybe tired and sagging in the front which is quite common especially with the Diesel engine or if it's had a plow on it a while or both if that is the case I would just buy a leveling kit that comes with new spirngs for the front you can have a spring shop bend you up some custom springs I wouldnt put additional springs in a already worn out pack you absolutely CAN NOT use a block in the front. if you just do 2 in leveling kit you should just need an adjustable track bar I wouldn't want to go a higher than that if your going to be plowing with the truck but that's just my opinion. Then you could add another leaf or two smaller ones that give you less height to the back if the springs aren't in bad shape. The leveling kit and the f350 rear block is a pretty common setup with these trucks that give them a nice level stance you may want to do the front level kit and see what you got then decide if you want to do anything to the back or not. Pro comp has a leveling kit that comes with all new front leafs.
