Can anyone tell me by this pic if this is an OEM or aftermarket alarm? The remotes appear to be OEM. I purchased new remotes and need to find out how to program them. I have found instructions on programming the OEM.

I'll +1 on that. If it were a Ford part, it would not have text on it beyond a Ford engineering number or part number. It would also be well-buried under the dash, out of reach. At least that's where my brother's is located on his '99 Ranger. We can see what we think to be the module with an inspection mirror and flashlight but that's it.

 

Its an aftermarket unit. Also that is most likely just a shock sensor and not the actual module.

 

Thanks all. I think I will take it to the place that's going to install an alarm and remote start on my wife's 4Runner. Hopefully they can program my new remotes.
