I also used a Lokar throttle cable. It looks good.

Here is a picture of the Lokar Eliminator installed. I am kind of like Carnut, not liking the straight up and down so I angled mine off to the right a bit. I can change foot position and still have full control.

I have the Lokar Standard Billet Aluminum throttle pedal however when mounting it to the firewall with the 2 little screws it was filmsey and not really a solid mount, so if you look at the picture I made a billet aluminum pad with a recess in the center for the pedal to slide into and mounted it that way..works good, if you blow up the pic you'll see the piece I'm talking about that I had to make.

and is securely mounted to the floor, uses all Lokar throttle cables and hardware,.

I did something I don't normally do since I usually shop the salvage yards. I went on ebay and found this pedal setup for a little over $60. No holes through the firewall. It also came with the cable, brackets, brake pedal and the dimmer pedal.

I have the same one as DonVito and had the same issue. I used longer screws and move the pedal location a bit to get a better mounting surface. This helped sturdy it up. I'm sure DV's solution would be even better!

I do have a standard stamped steel firewall mounted pedal that came with the truck. It's in good condition and free to the original poster if that's what your looking for. OR anyone else that is need of it. Don't want to give it to someone that does have an exact need for it.

I am not in need of the original pedal but thanks for the generous offer.
