Rear ABS light 1992 F-250

My '92's Rear ABS light comes on most of the time when I hit 40 mph. I had installed new taillight bulbs and they also seemed to knock out my cruise control. I have tried replacing the stoplight switch and now the ABS light doesn't come on every time. I really don't want to change out the bulbs (they're LED). Anybody else have this problem?

What LED bulbs did you use? if you ordered cheap chineese **** off ebay or some other site that will happen.

I use Sylvania Zevos in my truck and have no issue.

As far as the ABS light have you pulled the codes as to why its coming on?

Check the center stop light in the cab roof.

I am using the sylvania zevo's. I haven't tried to get any codes yet. Maybe I'll have time tomorrow. Also I don't have a stop light on the cab roof. It's just a cargo light

'92 should have a stop light up there. Check your owner's manual to be sure. If the stop light has been swapped out with a cargo-only light and there's no bulb there, that could account for your issues.

The 1994 F-series truck was the first one to have the stop light cargo light combination.
Note the RABS codes are read from the flashing yellow ABS lamp and not the MIL (CEL).

The possible flashout codes are listed and explained in the «Flash Codes Chart». Note that Codes 1 and 16 are not used.

When a code has been obtained, go to the Test indicated by the number of flashes. For example, if the flashout code is nine, go to Flashout Code 9 for the next step in diagnosing the problem.
