Well its "officially" started here in Metro Detroit. Got a flyer in the mail this morning from Village Ford in Dearborn announcing their F-150 Kickoff Sales Event. Going to be held in a parking lot down the street from the actual dealer and will include a few contests, one of which is the opportunity to throw a football into the back of an F-150 and win a 2004 F-150. They even mailed a "key" that I can go down to the dealership with and try to start a new one up...for a chance to win it. Sales event is scheduled to be held 9-03-03 thru 09-06-03. Just thought it would be kinda cool for everyone to post what their local dealerships are doing to promote this thing....

p.s.>>A little further down the page they're advertising 0% financing for 60 mos. I dunno if they mean on the 2004 F-150 or what...but there is NOT a disclaimer on the sheet saying it doesn't apply to the new one.

 

dealer today in houston readily offerred X plan pricing on the 04 but i didnt bother to get the x plan price. A few 04's are surfacing in houston area but i have yet to see an 04 super crew.

 

I have yet to see an '04 at the local dealership in Cabot Ark. I am goin to head down to Little Rock Monday and check out the larger dealers......heehee lookin forward to it. And I have yet to see one on the road,
