Pic Request 8" lift with 265/285 tires

I just ordered a RC 8" lift kit for my 02 F250 5.4 but it's going to be a month or so before I order the bigger wheels. Just looking to see if anyone has a photo maybe after they did there kit and didn't have the bigger wheels on yet. Just looking to see what it's going to look like with the BFG 285s I have. If it's really goofy looking I may wait for the wheels before doing the lift.

285's
265's
I would wait if i were you. I put a small 2.5 inch leveling kit on mine when i had 265's and it looked pretty puny so i can only imagine an 8 inch lift wouldnt look much better

Here's my old '02 F250 with a 2" leveling kit up front, stock in the back. It has 285-75-18 Toyo's, I think it was perfect like that, Can't even imagine how your's will look with an 8" lift.......well I can but I won't comment. You'll need some VERY BIG tires. By the way, why do you want an 8" lift?

Don't really know why I decided on 8", I guess go big or go home. 2 reasons played into it. 1 being the truck has close to 300k on the suspension and I like the idea of the 8" where it will replace the springs front and back. And the 4 and 6" lifts are only a few hundred less.

Is it going to be a daily driver? 8 inch lift and big tires will be hard on the other driveline components especially your hub assemblies and u-joints and most importantly your wallet. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of a big lift but I wouldn't want to deal with the extra up keep. My .02

Also I guess I kinda feel that my 02 sits pretty low as it is which leads me to believe the springs are worn. I spoke to soon when I said ordered, it's in the shopping cart ready to be bought but I was interrupted by Dr.Strange lol.
It is a daily driver but like I said it seems so puny as is. What's everyone's recommendation?

That's it just picked it up 2 weeks ago. The bed is being replaced and the tires in that pic were bald 265s As you can see it doesn't sit like most.

If I were you, I would upgrade to X code springs, and put a f350 block in the back. It will look much better. When my truck was 2wd I wished it was that high lol

I'd spend the money on rust repair over the lift if it was mine.

Already replaced the bed and rear doors with Texas parts. Like I said that was the pic the day I got it. 800 bucks and drove it home. Also rebuilt the front end and u joints throughout.

Sorry if I missed that part. Sounds like a great deal for a running truck!

Tires will look very small. Share pics of the before and after with whatever you do.
