Performer Top end project finally done.
Only I can take 3-1/2 months to install a set of heads, gee wiz, I should write a book on how not to do stuff. But it's done and it runs good, it sounds good, and I'm happy with it. They claim I think 367 HP on a stock base, heck I don't know what 367 HP feels like but I can most definitely feel an increase in power, I had to change metering rods in the carb because the extra air flow leaned it way out. I realize this project ended up being a conglomeration of several threads b4 I finished, and as always the amount of help, information, and inspiration, I received from fellow members was fanominal, and I thank you all. It just blows me away, how much useful information comes up in each and every thread, things that help immediately and things that will help in future projects, no posts are ever taken for granted, I know it takes time and effort to help someone, and some times its a subject that has been asked by others B4, but each time I ask for help or opinions its treated as if its a fresh subject that no one has ever asked b4, and that's one of the things that makes this site so special. Good folks, good information, and good attitudes. ROCK ON FTErs, and thank you for the help.

Jimmy it looks great now we need a video to hear it! You may not know it or should I say recognize it but you give as much help as you get in all of these post. You also use a clear consise language that clears up a lot of the technical stuff some of us don't understand. So thanks for keeping us up to date on your projects we all enjoy them.

No snow here (yet) Dave, I'm at about 2500 feet which is usually about the cut off line. I very rarely need to chain up, but I appreciate your thoughts, which is funny because I think about you often since Truckee is usually about the coldest spot in California. Then the names start running thru my head, I think John is about the most northern member in Canada, then Scott in Montana and so on and so on. I just don't know how you guys do it, how does anyone live below zero, it's way to cold for this guy. Any way someday if life permits I would love to just drive around meeting as many members as possible, no deadlines, no boundaries, it may never happen but it's on my bucket list. Stay warm everyone
