How much longer on these tires?
#17
Check out this website. I bought my tires here, and got them quick. I have had them for 2 years, and they still look new. They ride great, and to be completely honest, they have never been balanced and I have no vibration. I will definitely buy from them again. A friend of mine bought some, and got a bubble in the sidewall. He called the company and they overnighted him a brand new one, no questions asked.

This is for the 285/75/r16 tire, but they have several of the common sizes and they are load range E 10 ply tires which is what these beasts need.

Think about this, if you run them and make it. You only had the risk of rolling at highway speed but eluded the death of your truck and possible injury of passengers. But if in a best case scenario only a blow out happens; you don't roll it, not single bad thing happens, you don't have to do anything accept buy tires maybe a tow to the closest shop.
But in this situation you are at the mercy of wherever you are, their stock, their prices, their time to install, their service, basically you are going to pay premium price w/o advantage of common market control; such as choosing vendor, tire brand, etc......just get it done.
Your wallet might hurt if you spend money now, how would you feel if some thing major happene
d to a loved one when you wreck?

Heck, I'm the cheapskate here so will go against the tide of advice (someone needs to represent Brent) ; I'd run 'em around town all day (<30mph). Just be prepared with a jack, tire iron, spare or two when the bulge appears in the tread or when they suddenly spring a hole in the sidewall (pic 1). Should go another 2 years.
Heck, you can always install a better used set yourself (pic 2) to save a few cents.
ps. don't buy dean durango tires.
