I want to update the lighting on my 04 f250. morimoto makes a set of led fogs that have great reviews but they are listed for 05 and up. What is needed to retrofit them into an 04?

I don't know about that brand you have referenced, but..............

When it comes to the Super Dooties, from 2001-2004 they used the same stock part number for the fog light assemblies.

2005-2007 they used a different one then the previous years.

When you look at 2001-2004 fog light assembly it looks like the mounting bracket is recessed more than that of the 2005-2007.

This is from the stock fog assembly standpoint.

So to be safe you may want to just order for the year of your truck, the 2001-2004 era.

Actually, now that I think of it, you could probably order a 2005-2007 set but have to mount them on the 2001-2004 brackets that come with your truck.

The stock bulb housing looks the same between 2001-2007, but the bracket looks different.

You don't reference a website link. That would probably help you get an answer too.

silver those are the exact one i was looking at. they dont list them for an 04 and older that why i was asking. wasnt sure how to post links.
