Question 96' f150 4.9L 300

Ok so I have a 96' f150 2wd 4.9l i6. Its my baby she has 228XXX miles and figured it was time to start my rebuild slowly piece by piece. I did the valve cover gasket, egr gasket, upper intake plenum gasket, New power steering pump, plugs wires, diff pan and gasket, oil filter, New headlight/taillight assemblies. Got it all back together and now I have a very rough idle and put it in drive it's all I can do to keep it from dieing. I'm at a loss, no vacuum leakes or air leaking under the hood. Any advise is much much thanked

Too many variables to make a guess.

Go back over your work, vacuum leaks, vac lines and electrical connections.

I second this. If it ran fine before you tore it apart you need to get back and double check what you moved.

Some of those vacuum lines will disintegrate if you look at it too long, let alone if you actually touch them. Highly suggest you replace all of them as a preventative measure.

Did you ever find it?
Did you ever check your vacuum lines?
