REPLACEMENT EXHAUST MANIFOLDS

My '88 460 needs to have the exhaust manifolds replaced. Their is some china crap, Dorman and others. Don't want to go the header route. Any recommendations? Heard the factory castings were prone with issues.

The Dorman manifolds are probably going to be your best bet for an aftermarket version for the EFI 460's. Just make sure you get the correct gaskets. There are two versions, one for the large exhaust port EFI heads and another for the smaller port EFI heads. I believe this is only an issue for the newer 460's in the late 90's though. Still, just a heads up on something to look for.

Depending where you are I have a Factory ford set of manifold I would be willing to part with. Been sitting in storage for the past 16 years
