Here's a case where the repops are absolutely better than reusing the factory originals. While I have no direct experience, the suggestions to keep moving are spot on, according to my hearsay. Wean off the painkillers promptly and get some foot miles on - so you are in top shape for truck driving weather.

Judging from how sore my muscles are, I believe you. Since my motorcycle accident in 1972, my left knee doesn't bend very much. The Dr told my wife he had to bend my knee to put me back together. The top of my thigh muscle is sore, probably from that. I probably won't know if I have more movement until I get behind the wheel of the truck and work the clutch. Dennis

Dennis, did he go in from front, side or back ?? side is the easiest to recover and no limitations on movements after... the other two can have dislocation problems if you move or bend wrong... yep... pain free is a blessing... I had no staples just internal stitches and a big ole adhesive binding dressing... mine was on my left side... still a little tender when I'm laying on a floorbed on that side... installing a/c yesterday and I'm a little sore this a.m. gud luck and DO THE EXERCISES !

I would say he went in on the side slightly to the rear. I have stitches that will dissolve and a big waterproof patch. Dennis

The last 2 days were pretty good. The soreness is lessening. I was able to walk up the sidewalk to the corner 4 times today. Dennis. Still using the walker though.

Hello Dennis,

Just wondering how you were doing and if you were moving around any better. Hope so.
