Since Ford gauges are largely idiot lights, I have placed an oil Pressure gauge in the truck, a straight forward task. The truck, a 2016 F 350, did not have an oil press. gauge which was ok as they are no better than an idiot light. The coolant temp is another issue. I cannot see any where to mount the sensor. There appears to be no ports in the pump housing or in either head that I can see. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I, like you, am a guage watcher, but........don't we love that word!!?? As I learned from the big trucks when they started computer controlling the engines, the computer watches the temps/ oil pressures much closer than I ever could!! And this is true of the 6.7 PSD also!! But to each their own!! And we definately do not want to disable the sensors that are there for the purpose of the ECM monitoring the temps!!
