That is Meadow Green, a very nice color....

Welcome to FTE, the best Ford Truck forum on the World Wide Web. All your questions will be answered here. But we just ask that you show pictures of your 55, both inside and out.

Also, please tell us where you are from and a brief history of your truck. Is it a family truck? You say it is 4 wheel drive. Is it a Marmon Herrington? There are several guys here that are experts of MH conversions.

Thanks. I started build post and I am not sure if it is a Marmon Herrington. I am still doing research on the truck.

I agree on the meadow green, but why the color code of U? That puzzles me.
Oh, and welcome to FTE! Now I have to find your build thread.
If it is a Marmon Herrington, you have come to the place to answer any questions you might have. I would say the guys on here that have them are the foremost experts on MH trucks. They will also want you axle numbers to add to their registry.

That's because 'U' is the code for Meadow Green in 54 and 55. I doubled checked on the 48-56 Parts and Accessories Catalog CD you told me to buy!

See, I tell everybody it's well worth it.
Interesting thing is that I looked at the paint charts and meadow green isn't on there. I guess it's not the definitive list.

To confirm Abe, here is the 55 paint code listing from the manual.
