Fuel issue? Vaccuum leak?

I have a 96 Ford F-150 with 4.9 and it idles fine and I can rev it up in park but sometimes when I'm driving and stop at a stoplight and try to take off again it sputters and sometimes it completely cuts off on take off like it's not getting fuel and before I adjusted the idle it was cutting off on idle i don't know what's going on

How did you adjust the idle?

FYI...there is no idle adjustment.
