Morning New York..... enjoy the rain....it ain't WHITE !!! I may be done with below freezing here... looking good for the next 10 days anyway! I turned on the outside faucets!
I would prefer not to have mud season. My walker has a tendency to sink into the soft gravel in the driveway and also into the mud as I go across the lawn. Just think, I missed mud season last year...lol.

Bud you realize that just guaranteed you a few more days of freezing temps...lol.

We just need to put some skis on the walker, so you can just scoot right across it...LOL

Nah, that would be too much work and may cause more issues than solve...lol. I am shooting to be transitioning from the walker to a cane, possibly walking un-aided in June. My orthopedic doctor says that is a very realistic goal. In May it will be a year since I started walking again with the use of a walker. It will sure be nice to not need this to get around for the most part. I figure that I may still need it for a bit on uneven ground while I work on getting back to normal with balance.
Update:
Dads back to breathing unassisted again.. they pulled the breathing tube out about an hr again.. but still in the ICU for observation.. before they said itd be a day or 2 after doing so hed get moved to a regular ward.. dunno if that still holds true or not.

That is good news. Most of the time they keep patients in ICU to make sure that they are stable before moving them to a regular room. Better to play it safe and the ICU's are staffed more than the regular floors.
