hey guys. my rig has procomp f250 leaf springs and an aluminum block stacked on the oem block. stacked blocks are bad, i understand that. where can i purchase a quality 4" replacement block?
or
where can i source new rear springs to eliminate the block? any options to get a better riding spring? i do tow with the rig also. 6kish lbs. i believe mods in my sig.
what say you guys?

F-350's came with a 4" block, but if you want to retain the factory 2" block, you can "mod" the rear leaf springs by adding two leaves to the bottom. Most people use the Excursion springs they just took off for this purpose, but you should be able to use pretty much any Ford spring pack to add the height back that you want. This is what I did with mine and I'm very happy with the ride and towing performance.

I ask because there have been rare occasions when a person will mistake the axle spring perch for a block, so I figured I'd ask to make sure.

It looks like an aluminum 1.5" block on top of the factory block. The factory part has the inboard arm so the bumpstops above don't contact the axle housing directly. You are right to want to fix that. I would want to do the same.
I opted to add leaves because I didn't want to run a larger block than the factory one. There's nothing wrong with a 4" block, I just prefer to go as small as possible to minimize axle wrap. I tow an 8500# RV and I'm very happy with the modified suspension I put together with help from this forum.

I would venture homebrew. Aftermarket normally would take the time to round off the edges just a tad I would think. The shavings from the rounding are worth a pretty penny to scrap and it's a simple job... I could EASILY be wrong though
