F-350's came with a 4" block, but if you want to retain the factory 2" block, you can "mod" the rear leaf springs by adding two leaves to the bottom. Most people use the Excursion springs they just took off for this purpose, but you should be able to use pretty much any Ford spring pack to add the height back that you want. This is what I did with mine and I'm very happy with the ride and towing performance.

Keep an eye out on craigslist. I scored a full set of OEM springs for my truck for less than $200 for my V/B swap. Or hit up a junkyard or even a u-pull if you're motivated.

Are you able to contact the previous owner? Maybe they're sitting in a barn or garage somewhere.

Do disrespect intended, but you're absolutely sure there is a block stacked on the OEM block?

I ask because there have been rare occasions when a person will mistake the axle spring perch for a block, so I figured I'd ask to make sure.

We have heavy duty tapered cast steel blocks that are 4". Use them all the time on the Excursions.

Pro comp 22415 spring may be what you need. They are 5" lift springs. May not need any block or just the stock block only.

It looks like an aluminum 1.5" block on top of the factory block. The factory part has the inboard arm so the bumpstops above don't contact the axle housing directly. You are right to want to fix that. I would want to do the same.

I opted to add leaves because I didn't want to run a larger block than the factory one. There's nothing wrong with a 4" block, I just prefer to go as small as possible to minimize axle wrap. I tow an 8500# RV and I'm very happy with the modified suspension I put together with help from this forum.

I wonder where that aluminum spacer block came from: Aftermarket or home brew.

I would venture homebrew. Aftermarket normally would take the time to round off the edges just a tad I would think. The shavings from the rounding are worth a pretty penny to scrap and it's a simple job... I could EASILY be wrong though
