Front opening hard tonneau cover?

I'm trying to find a hard tonneau cover that will open from the front (near the cab). I'm sure someone must make a decent one, since it would be handy for having a toolbox near the cab or filling an aux fuel tank.

Has anyone here come across any that are hinged so you can open the front? If you have one, I'd love to see pics & part number.

It's for a short bed.

Thanks JasonB1. That one is really nice, but I can't pay $1900 for a bed cover

Does anyone know of a more reasonably priced one that opens in the front, even if it's not a hard cover? I didn't realize they cost so much. It's been 15 years since I've had one, it appears they've gone up quite a bit.

I installed a Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite on my '16 F350 .....$850. It has front and rear lockable openings, it sits on top of the bed rails which believe me makes it pretty well water tight and the shipping was free, very good unit. Here's some pics

Cyncwby, thanks, that's perfect. It's at the top of what I'd be willing to pay, but since it's everything I'm looking for.....it looks like a bargain. The one JasonB1 posted was really nice too, I just choked on the price.

Another good choice, thanks peoples1234. It looks very similar to the cyncwby posted.
Do either of you know any pros or cons of those 2 when compared to each other?

Trifold vs Quadfold.

Trifolds will sit very close to any Gooseneck or 5ver if you use a in bed hitch. The Quadfold moves everything a little farther away from the hitch.

Thanks Painted Horse. I only plan to use the receiver hitch, but that is good info.

Side note, I quoted a post today, that you wrote about the supplemental heater.

i don't know anything about the G4, but a nifty feature of the Extang is that front lock can be easily keyed to match the truck key. So you don't have to keep up with a separate set of keys.

That is a nifty feature. I have a ring of keys and I have no idea what they go to....but I'm afraid to get rid of them. It would be nice to not add another one to the ring.
