Got my 55 F350 out yesterday

I got my 55 F350 out of storage yesterday. It was in the 60's here in PA. I hadn't started it since early December. I wanted to get it out for a drive. I pulled the choke and pumped the gas two times. It cranked. I pumped the gas two more times and then it started. I drove it home. I had a pile of small branches and sticks that had blown off one of our trees in the last two weeks so I loaded them up and took them to a city brush pile. I used it on a couple of errands and a run to the parts store.

I stopped at an old tobacco shed for a few shots. It was a beautiful day in Central PA!

Abe - looks good - It has been such a mild winter here I have only had about 4-5 rainy days I couldn't drive the beast. Hopefully your weather will allow an early spring so you can continue to have fun with the truck.

Looking good!
What rear end do you have in there? You were moving along at 50.
What is your comfortable cruising speed?

Well, at least you're not texting and driving. Dennis

I always liked your Missy Green, Ray, as you know. But coveting is a sin! But I am very happy with my 55 F350 as the interior is the same as my 54.

It has the optional 5.83. The standard was 5.18 which I wish it had. I can do 55 mph. I do not know what kind of rpm's that is pushing though.

Abe, Your truck is looking good! Also, I love the old Pennsylvania farmhouses and bank barns, Especially the stone houses and barns in Lancaster and Montgomery counties.

I was born and raised on a small farm in Lancaster county. We had a small bank barn.

I now live in Clinton County which is in North Central PA.

Keep posting those pictures Abe! It's the only choice I have to enjoy the rides since my truck is OOS Your countryside is beautiful and I do believe I see a little green grass. You better get those Lawnmowers serviced! Oh, also I just happen to see your oil pressure is a little low. Hopefully it's disconnected?

Thanks! You flatlanders do like our mountains, don't you. Our minister is a flatlander from crawfordsville, IN and he loves it here.

Oil pressure, if you look at the bottom edge of the picture you'll see the top of a gauge. That is a vintage oil pressure gauge mounted on the steering column support that the original owner had installed way back when.

The truck is back in storage until sometime in March since you never know when we will get snow in late Feb or early March.

Yes they are the original rims. But not widow makers.
