I was thinking that if we could be somewhere around central WA
then it would make things easier for the people that are east. Plus
there are more places to overnight if that is what we would like to do.

So the two things we need to keep in mind are overnight and parking space.

Avoiding a Holiday weekend would be great too, I would definitely be up for an overnight in Eastern, WA or even a road trip to Leavenworth or some place cool.

Good point.
Memorially Day Monday, May 29 and July 4th are some really congested days.
Would be hard to find open places with room. Silverbullet6oh posted some good
sounding places over in the meet thread.

Here are two places I was thinking of that are central.

Also, both of these cities/towns will have areas big enough areas for a large crowd.

Lots of lake here.

The Yakima-Ellensburg canyon has some really big campgrounds.

Big river at this location.

I might be interested; I'm always intrigued by a road trip. Will have to play it by ear with the summer months. The weekends seem to fill up fast and with two kids, my priorities are often set for me...

July sounds good to me! Ellensburg area seems like a good central location! I'll keep it in mind.

Some guy named @glruff demanded I provide more input to this mandatory meet via PM. I'm pretty open minus Seafair and July 21st-23rd as we will be camping.

Someplace central that has camping or rv park would be great for those of us who have trailers.

I would like anyone that has a place in mind to please post the location and if
they have overnight spaces for truck and trailers or if it's a day only place.

So far we have
Leavenworth
Moses Lake
Ellensburg

Is everyone OK with the mid to end of July for the meet?
Would like to avoid mixing in with others out of a holiday vacation.
Crowds could cause issues with enough spaces.

Thanks

Sean, let me put a little work into figuring out who I need to talk to, and what we need to do to get the Ellensburg-Yakima canyon for us.

Big Pines has this still available:

July 21st-23rd

https://www.recreation.gov/campsiteC...rue&startIdx=0

This link would let you book your camp site. 12 trailer spots open, and 4 campsites.

I know someone said this date wouldn't work, sorry.

Here is some more info:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washin...tate_Route_821

This place is perfect for a get together.

Lots of fishing, water time, woods, walking, and you can bring your own innertubes/floation devices and we can all float the river. Floating the river is alot of fun, it takes about 4-5 hours usually.

Here is a google map of the place:

Here is a general road map I made up:

Thanks - Preston
