06 F250 5.4L with codes P0426 and P0345
Looking for help on where to start. Have had to replace a few COP's in the past and replaced all spark plugs 20k ago.
Truck runs rough at idle and sometimes stalls when changing gear. Strong exhaust smell when sitting idle. If I put my foot in it there is hesitation. Engine seems to smooth out quite a bit but also seems like it's getting more power in stages.
Any help is much appreciated.

P0345 could mean one or more of the following has happened:
a wire or connector in the circuit could be grounded/shorted/broken the camshaft position sensor may have failed
the PCM may have failed there exists an open circuit
the crankshaft position sensor may have failed Possible Solutions With a P0345 OBD-II trouble code, diagnosis can be tricky at times.
Here are some things to try: Visually inspect all the wiring and connectors in the circuit Check for continuity in the circuit wiring
Check the operation (voltage) of the camshaft position sensor Replace the camshaft position sensor as required
Check the crankshaft position circuit as well Replace circuit wiring and/or connectors as required Diagnose/replace the PCM as required.

I would suggest first unplugging these sensors and spraying them with contact cleaner then plugging them back in, and make sure they are seated all the way.
