1800# payload configuration?

I hear of folks who have f150s in the 2011-15 year range and they have a payload sticker at around 1800#. What truck configurations get you to that?

For those of us shopping for a truck outside our local market, wouldn't it make life so much easier if the dealers posted a pic of the payload sticker!

No kidding!!! Drives me nuts...this is an important piece of information and downright simple to snap a photo and share. Before driving down to look at a specific vehicle I always ask for a shot of both stickers.

It certainly makes shopping a pain in the neck. The best I can do is look for certain clues that indicate a truck might be in the 1800 functional payload range and then inquire with the dealer for the sticker. Some dealerships are better than others to work with on stuff like that.

Etis is a huge help. Only recently discovered that one.

In looking around, I've seen Canadian trucks have the 7650 GVWR (payload around 1700#). Yours is the first American 7650 I've seen.

Any issues with the Canadian trucks that you've heard of? Seems like if you're not going with the HD payload package but want higher payload than standard, often you're looking at the Canadian trucks.

That's because the max tow package is somewhat rare. The dealer I bought that truck from kept an inventory of around 95 trucks, and only two or three had the max tow package.
