87 LTL parts

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a LTL and I found one that peaked my interest but it needs some rust repair. Both doors, both cab corners and the passenger side corner cowl piece. Anyone have any suggestions to get parts?

Obsolete, not reproduced, possibly available NOS or used, but where you'll find rust free parts in PA .. I dunno.

Here in LA LA Land, it's a different story...as long as you could find an L Series.

Thanks for the exploded view Bill. Are those numbers actual part numbers?

Do you know if green sales bought any of the the obsoleted inventory

Basic part numbers shown in illustrations.

The text section of the catalog required to add the apropos prefix and suffix to the basic part number to form a complete part number.

I would be also looking for a spare cab. Your Louies are gradually disappearing just like ours down here in Oz.
C and H truck wreckers in Nebraska looks like they have a few bits.

When Ford sold their heavy truck operation to Freightliner, Freightliner was supposed to take over the parts business for the older L series trucks. Problem is that whole operation (Sterling) is gone now. You might try looking up former Sterling dealers, maybe there is something in Freightliner's network.

Very nice LTL. I've tracked down some smaller parts through the Freightliner network down here in Oz for my LN.
