2000 expy lower intake help!

Had a leak on my intake and have removed it for gasket replacement. However it looks like the intake that is on it isn't the right one. The factory intake had been replaced with the Dorman 615-188. But it doesn't seem to fit just right. On the passenger side rear on the head, there is a small hole behind the water passage that is completely uncovered. No spot on the intake for an oring, not does it even get covered at all. I've searched and searched and can't find any intake that has this, or is it something that isn't used? I'm stuck. Not sure if the intake was wrong all along, (installed by PO, has been on the truck since I've had it over a year).

Here is a pic of the backside of the head...

And here is a pic of the intake. They don't seem to match up.

No. Heater hose goes on the front passenger side of the crossover.

Got or it figured out though. It's a useless hole. Not drilled through. Ford only used one casting for the heads, which makes either side basically the same. That port would be under the thermostat housing under the crossover if the heads were switched.
