Cam phasers? Added video of noise.
2008 5.4l Expedition, 160k miles. Intermittent rough idle, runs better under load, initially did not throw any codes, now I get P0300, P2195, P2197, weird noise at idle once warm, hard to describe, sounds rotational, but not consistent knock, but not like a rod.

When I am watching the video it almost looks like it is coming from the back of the fan, if you look at your video and watch where the back of the fan as it is turning, it almost looks like there is a skip in the revolution as the fan goes around.
Have a look at that first. There seems to be a skip, I dont think that is cam phaser noise, I just did cam phasers on my 06 F250 and it it didnt sound like the sound your hearing

The truck has a hard miss at idle, I think the fan skip on the video is while it is missing. It sounds like the noise is coming from the top of the engine, though I can't say for sure. I will check it out a little closer today, keeping in mind your thoughts on the fan.

Well I know when I did the phasers on one of my trucks, it almost sounded like lifter noise like a tick tick tick sound and was more to one side of the negine and became more prevalent as the engine got hot, when you stepped on the pedal and held it above 2500 RPMS of course the tick went away but as it dropped down to normal idle the tick came back.
Just some info that led me to believe it was phasers on my truck

Agree it is the VCT solenoids and you lost one side of your timing chain tensioner guides...the timing chain is slapping the cover. You'll need to check for debris in the oil pan as well and a new oil pump, timing chains tensioners, VCT solenoids, phasers, the whole shaa-bang. with the oil pump make sure you get a revised oil pump with a heavier back plate.
I would not drive this any more then absolutely necessary!

Hi there guys, New to ford recently purchased a expedition with 170k miles on it replaced the manifold and now it's idling rough also giving me poor gas mileage I want to say it's sluggish as well. Don't know what could be the case here. Also started noticing a stutter with the ride while in park or while at a stop sign.

Welcome to FTE!
You might want to start your own thread so you can get more feed back on your problem. You can give us more info so we can help sort out your problem.
Ok to answer your question seems like you have a miss fire, and from your info I assume you had coolant go into one of the spark plug holes causing a miss fire. Also bad COP (coil over plug) boots, moisture intrusion, a bad spark plug, bad connection or a bad COP can cause a miss fire. If you have an AutoZone near you tell them to scan it for you and give us the codes so we can pinpoint what's the real problem.
