Couple of minor things...

I was headed to Valdosta last week to pick up some alfalfa at the hay depot. They drop large heavy bails in the bed since we don't get but a few bails. It occurred to me before I got there that I might have left a large cargo scrap in the bed and if so I needed to remove it before they dropped the bails. My first thought was "Hey, I have a bed camera". Well you can't access that driving down the highway. Can you guy think of times it would be nice to have access to a bed camera while driving down the highway? Not sure that would be a safety issue. Of course when I arrived I just put in reverse and looked in the bed. Sure enough the strap was there.

I have a gasser and the first maintenance is scheduled for 7500 miles. I am thinking I will go ahead and get it done now - I'm around 3500 miles. Any reasons I should or shouldn't wait until the 7500 miles or if it really matters?

Have a good weekend - keep the greasy side down!

I first changed at 4k. I wouldn't want to go 7500 on the first one. I will do like I've always done, every 5k with 5/30 synthetic.

With my Ram I installed a device called "Lock-Pick" which allowed you to do just that. I would turn it on periodically to look at my hitch when traveling long distances just to ensure safety chains, etc. With my car trailer, I could also easily see the chains/straps at the front of the trailer holding my load down.
I'm not aware of anyone making this device for the SD at the moment.

I'm sure someone will come up with a workaround to make the rear cameras work anytime.
I don't think you can ever get it serviced too early.
