pulling 1999 5.4 5sp rwd

I just purchased a 2001 f250 4x4 5.4 with automatic and I am thinking of parting out my rust free 1999 f250 super duty super cab 5.4 rwd. I want to pull the 5.4 for a spare only has 80000 miles and new truck has high miles. My question is, is a standard engine hoist high enough to lift the engine out. And is the rust free cab worth anything after i sell bed and doors or should i sell cab with doors thanks

i understand what you are wanting to do but pulling a engine out of a truck that runs and is in great shape from what you say just to have a spare engine is a bit over kill.
what i would do in your position would be to sell the truck as a whole and go to a junk yard and buy you a 5.4 out of a wrecked truck get it home and slowly start tearing it apart and start to rebuild it slowly no rush if the truck your are driving is still running and when you finish your rebuilt motor drop it in and either sell the old one or rebuild it and sell it or keep it for another project.
thats just my 2 cents on your situation
