Not sure if anyone has seen this listing, but this thing looks quite interesting.

The fiberglass fenders warp/deflect a bit (the lights are parallel to the edge of the fender, but the fenders "droop").

"You get lots of looks driving down the road"...
as in, "what a stupid thing to do with your money".

Where that "stupid" line get's drawn is very subjective, and it can depend on how much money the owner has, how much money the "looker" has, and the disparity between them.

People have been judgmental like that towards regular Excursion owners for years, especially when they first came out.

Personally I like the looks of that rig and if I had the discretionary funds to afford it, I'd buy it!

Never mind. I clicked the link and a quick look shows me both center consoles weren't installed level, and that would drive me nuts. Plus, if they didn't have the patience to get that correct, what else did they cut corners on?

I didn't even notice the consoles but that is very strange. Maybe they aren't installed yet, and they were just sitting there?

What would drive me equally nuts is that huge gap between the body and frame directly over the rear axle.

From what I saw in the pictures that truck doesn't have a very nice finish inside.

Things could have been made to fit more oem than just slapping them in there.

I'm with Stewart, how hard would it be to have those consoles sit straight?

Maybe there's something lumpy underneath?

Sorry Misk, in reading that again just now, it might appear I'm saying YOU are being negatively judgemental regarding that rig, and I didn't mean to imply that. I was just taking your comment a step further and adding my own thoughts to it.

Went back and looked a little closer this time and I believe you're correct, based on the one pic of the front seats where the console is missing.

What would drive me equally nuts is that huge gap between the body and frame directly over the rear axle.
Oh yeah, ya can see clear across to and through the other wheel well.

Yup, 82k and counting....wow.

For that kind of money I would rather have a '16 Excursion. And have it be much more user and everyday friendly!

This has me thinking...What will happen to all the businesses converting brand new trucks into Excursions now that the new superduty is aluminum and not based on the same design? No more "new" Excursions? That said, I love f650 conversions and would love to have the funds to buy this and correct it's few flaws.

1. Is that rust I see on the winch hook?

2. Is that a base model steering wheel? Not even a JY Navi wheel?!?

3. No cruise control?

4. Head unit was installed by a Wal-Mart associate.

5. Holes drilled under the gauge next to the power outlet on dash.

6. 1st row of captain's chairs have carpet damage on the back.

7. Black carpet... Really?

8. WTF is where the 4wd selector is?

9. Rust on almost every part under the hood that can rust. Where did that motor come from, the Titanic?!?

10. Check out those cables holding the hood up when you open the hood. Rusted. They were like that when installed I promise you.

11. VIN plate looks like something from the store in the mall that engraves trophies and plaques. "Something Remembered" I think.

12. No matter how bad *** you think your truck is, it will never... EVER "Pull anything". Can it pull the space shuttle, no. Can it pull Michaels smallest Carnival out of the water, no. That truck might be able to pull a lot, but it won't "pull anything".

Wink

I've seen this type of (ahem) rig in person used by a "gentleman's/adult entertainment" facility, my wife uses a more creative description.

Just a random guess but I doubt the occupants are noticing the "fit and finish."

Full disclosure: I did not ride in or on such a monstrosity. It was parked next to us at a major sporting event.
