97 F350 Plastic Front Tank Straps

Does anyone have any source for the factory plastic front tank straps?

I have been having zero luck locating them. I would rather buy some then have to try and replicate ones from a pile of dust left on the shop floor

And before anyone says it is not factory, YES it is. 97 only had this weird option. The tank is also like 22 gallon

I am not absolutely sure if this is exactly what your looking for. But they should work for your application. Let me know what you think?

I was just in the same predicament 2 weeks ago, with my 96. It is a 24 gal. tank. My front strap was fine but the rear was nonexistent. I mistakenly bought the straps for a steel tank before I knew they were different.
I ended up making the strap out of the 2. It hooked in the frame the same way then I cut off the other end fit it in there and welded it to other strap. It worked great.
The front one bolts on both sides and would be a little harder but do-able.
I wish I had taken pictures now

Brad,

Here are the photos of the plastic fuel tank strap. Do you need both, because I only replaced the front strap, the rear was still good to use. I took two straps for a 19 gallon tank and welded them together. It was a bit hard to measure the complete length, I may have made mine a bit shorter or longer, I honestly don't remember. Let me know if you need measurements of the rear strap and I will see what I can do.

My front one is still there enough to mimic it. The rear one where it has the T that goes into the frame has disintegrated

I appreciate the 30.75 measurement

Digging up this old post. Does anyone know if these straps are sold anywhere for the mid ship plastic fuel tanks, the tank is a 22 gal. The straps are bent to conform around the plastic ford tank, and have studs to attach the skid guard. Thought I’d ask before I start fabbing something up.

thanks
