Where does this mount?

2008 F250, 6.4

I had to install a radiator during my final inspection I found this vacuum regulator hanging down by the lower radiator hose.......well clearly is does not belong down there.

So it is on the passenger side, your are looking at an empty battery box......so it must mount someplace......has one hole and one slot for mounting. Its been a looong time since cant remember removing something much less not being able to find were it mounts..........

Sorry no one has come forward on this. I'm not a photo send it guy.

Looks like it's the esof unit for your auto hubs.

Wife's got the truck out but I will look when she gets back home and TRY to get you a picture.

DieselDenny is correct. It is the esof relay and mounts on the passenger fender near the top. I have mine off right now so I can't take a picture.

The upper right illustration should answer the OP's question, regarding mounting location. As far as the part itself, that is the PVH (Pulse Vacuum Hub) solenoid. That is the part that directs vacuum to the front hubs to engage/disengage the front hubs to the axle during 4x4/4x2 commands.
